Broadway, television, and film star Robert Neary creates an unforgettable tribute to one of the greatest recording artists in history. Two hours packed with 24 classic hit songs, nostalgia, stories, multimedia, and trivia, and a finale that is pure Broadway caliber. This is a true immersion into the life and career of Neil Diamond. Critical praise all across the internet and social media has called this show “The most authentic and professional tribute to Neil Diamond and delivers nothing short of a true Neil Diamond concert experience”.  The concert has even been filmed as a documentary feature and is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video, where, it too, continues to draw rave reviews.

With over 40 years in the entertainment business, Robert has 3 Broadway leads, and over 60 major guest starring television and film roles to his credit. He created this incredible show in 2019 and worked tirelessly with NY’s premier band, The Mystic, during the pandemic, to make it the hit that it is today. Now in it’s 4th year, “So Good! The Neil Diamond Experience” is selling out venues all over the US with no end in site.

Robert Neary

Robert Neary was born and raised on Long Island, NY. He gained immediate success, as an actor, after moving to Los Angeles, when he was 20 years old, with a guest star role in the television series “Fame”, and then opposite Jason Bateman in the film, “Teen Wolf Too”. After a 2 year stint on General Hospital, as Officer Frank Marino, Robert moved to Nashville to pursue Contemporary Gospel music. He recorded 2 solo projects, before returning back to LA and his first love of acting. He has since gone on to guest star in over 50 television shows, including “Criminal Minds”, “The Blacklist”, “FBI: Most Wanted”, “Sons of Anarchy”, “The Closer”, “Grey’s Anatomy”, ” Blue Bloods”, “Justified”, “The Fosters”, “FBI: Most Wanted”, “Weeds”, “Medium” “NCIS” and “NCIS New Orleans”. He has also done over 25 national commercials and Motion Pictures.

Robert landed his 1st Broadway show in 1996, starring in “Smokey Joe’s Café”, where he met his wife, Natasha. Together they went on to tour in the Elton John, Tim Rice Broadway hit, “Aida”, where he played the evil, Zoser.

In 2017, Robert returned to NY, for a 3rd time, when he understudied the lead role of Sonny, in the Broadway smash, “A Bronx Tale, The Musical”, and got the chance to perform the famed role, over a dozen times.

Robert has since put the acting completely in the back and has reveled in the reinvention of his career. To be able to put together something this incredible, and to live out a life long dream of being a rockstar is truly an amazing blessing. To be able to do it with the timeless music of Neil Diamond, is just the icing on the cake.

The Mystic

The Mystic has been performing together for over 20 years. A collection of talented musicians with extensive resumes including performing on Broadway’s “Moving Out”, TV series, “Rock Star Supernova”, and on stage with Billy Joel and Elton John, as well as Monday night jams with “Richie Cannata”. They have traveled from coast to coast to perform at numerous weddings and private events. This amazing and versatile band can cover songs from every genre, perfectly. Robert knew he found his band the very 1st time he ever heard them play.
